POOL INSPECTION
ACADEMY HOME INSPECTION recommends that you have your in-ground pool inspected. In-ground pools can be a very costly endeavor if major repairs are necessary.
All ACADEMY HOME INSPECTION Affiliates are licensed, insured, and certified.
ACADEMY HOME INSPECTION endorses 2 Pool Inspection Companies:

In-ground pools can be inspected throughout the year, with few exceptions. One significant limitation is monitoring the water flow through the pipes and filter. The inspector should remove sections of the cover to evaluate pool components.
The pool inspection should include evaluation of the liner or gunite walls, pump, filter, heater, electric components, as well as fencing, latches, alarms, walkways, slide, diving board, coping, deck and rails and the pool perimeter.
A written report should follow the inspection and include repair cost estimates. The pool inspector should be able to demonstrate his qualifications, such as, certification by the NSPI (National Spa and Pool Institute) or have pool service industry or related experience with a standing reputation.

Pool inspections in the summer are of course in greater demand then other seasons so be prepared to offer lead-time.
